Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding of story elements, collaborative improv, creativity, and working without a script.
I am a professional, classically-trained actor and teaching artist, and a licensed substitute teacher in Washington, DC. I teach one other similar drama class for young learners here on Outschool, and have taught drama and improv in brick and mortar schools and summer camps since 2017.
Please have a chair nearby. Optional: yoga mat and/or pillow to sit on, if needed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners will be assessed informally on skill growth and participation.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
