I have a B. A. in Education, and I'm an award-winning certified teacher in Texas. I have nine years of classroom teaching experience and have taught all subjects. I have five children (including two gifted learners and one severely dyslexic one). My family and I are all huge The Hunger Games fans!
Prior to class, students should read or listen to "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. They can also choose to create an optional artistic representation of a scene from the book.

After class, top performing students will receive a personalized digital award certificate. Student award certificates will be shared with parents the same day as the class. Certificates may be printed as a keepsake or shared on social media by students or parents to celebrate the accomplishment.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Some students and parents may be sensitive to dialogue, uncomfortable situations, and violence described in "The Hunger Games."
