Description

Class Experience

In this one time class students will work with Pastels to create a Red Fox. Is it drawing or painting? It is a sort of in between medium and is considered a combination of both. 

We will start of by taking a look at my reference image of a Red Fox
Next we will use our ruler to set up a simple grid and draw our Fox step by step
Starting with the Fox and working from dark to light we will work on his fur and then his face 
Techniques used as we work: shading, blending, layering
We will finish...

This class is taught in English.

Improve drawing skills, using a grid and pastel techniques

9” x 12” drawing paper or paper created for pastel or charcoal.
Please do not use a huge sheet as it will take much longer to complete
Set of chalk Pastels with basic colors
Pencil
Eraser
Ruler
Paper towel
Optional: Charcoal pencil, Q-tips

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
