In this ongoing class, we will do fitness and dance routines from our chairs!
You don't have to be standing up to get a good workout! Chair fitness routines help to strengthen the arms, legs, and core! They also help children improve their gross and fine motor skills and memory. Chair fitness workouts are also ideal for individuals with physical disabilities and limitations. 25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Chair fitness routines have been designed to be as safe as possible, even for those with physical limitations. However, any type of physical exercise, whether done standing up or sitting down, always poses a small risk for overuse of muscles or injury. Please monitor your student(s) as they take this class.
