Students 8 and up will learn how to calculate the molar mass of various molecules in class. I specialize in differentiated instruction and have created an interactive approach for the fundamentals of chemistry.

Class will begin by focusing on the periodic table and what each number represents. Students will be introduced to Atomic Weight of Elements. We will then briefly refresh on breaking down chemical formulas. Students will then begin calculating molar mass of specific molecules. This is a highly interactive class and students will be actively participating in individual calculations. Please have a calculator, pencil, paper and an optional periodic table. I will also display individual elements which make up formulas we will calculate. I strongly recommend students attend some of my prerequisite courses before this class.
