The students will learn the technical specifications of the CH-47 Chinook helicopter, the different variants, and how it was used in various military roles over the history of the helicopter to include Operation Red Wings. This class is structured as a lecture based class with encouraged student interaction through questions. Have over 20 years in the Air Force as an officer and have experience briefing weather to CH-47 pilots. I also love teaching about military aircraft.
1 file available upon enrollmentThere is an attached two-page hand out for the student to download and follow along during the class. It is not graded or turned in. Only for the student's use.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There is a short dramatized video depicting a MH-47 being shot down from the movie Lone Survivor it lasts about two-minutes and there will be no inappropriate language played during the video. There will be a short YouTube video in this class and you do not need a separate login for this video. It will displayed in the classroom.
