Description
Class Experience
Students will develop their problem-solving skills, master math concepts, and hone their analytical skills. Students will learn techniques on how to pass the SAT, ACT, or FCAT. Students will also develop self-confidence in taking major Math exams in their respective schools through intuitive and interactive exercises and activities.
I pride myself on my almost 30 years of teaching experience both online and in the classroom. I hold 2 Professional Teaching Licenses from the US and the Philippines. I have taught more than 10,000 of math classes online and was exposed to different cultures having taught in the US, Japan, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines. I was also an SAT Math Reviewer and Teacher at Sylvan Learning Center for many years. I have coached Math Olympiad Contestants and chaired numerous Chess and Math Clubs before.
Homework is encouraged but not required. Practice sheets will be given upon requests.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some materials like practice worksheets are taken from education.com but most of them will be taken from text books that follow State Common Core Standards.
