In this course, we will work through specific math problems of the learner's choosing. We will discuss what steps to take to best find the solutions. Emphasis is on the process of doing math rather than enforcing right answers. The student should have a 6th grade math level or higher. Since math builds upon itself, it is best if the student has these certain skills prior to meeting: knowledge of multiplication tables, integer operations, basic calculator functions are crucial to help assist...
Students will be able to complete math problems and develop skills based on topics of their choosing. I can also provide materials.
I work full time as math teacher in a public high school currently teaching Algebra 1 CP and Algebra 2 Honors. I have experience teaching various academic levels of Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Accounting and have been in the classroom for 4 years.
Homework Offered
Since this is a one time class, homework will not be assigned. I encourage students to continue practicing similar math problems on their own and can provide extra practice upon request.0 hours per week outside of class
