*~*Class By Request*~* Every child has their preferred breakfast cereal. I go for a nice bowl of Wheaties or, if I'm treating myself, some Peanut Butter Captain Crunch! This one-time class will bring students through a pared-down timeline of cereal from the mid to late 19th century to the present, exploring cereal milestones of each age. *NOTE* - If you would like to take this class but it is not currently available at a time, or day that works for you, shoot me a message so we can work something out! This class is a perfect mixture of education and fun where learners can gain more knowledge about something they enjoy daily. Throughout the lesson, students will be expected to engage in cereal conversation while being exposed to cereals of the past. During class, students are encouraged, but not required, to have their favorite cereal on hand to munch on. The teacher certainly will!
Learning Goals
In this 45 minute class, learners will journey through a pared-down timeline of the history of breakfast cereal while engaging in conversation with their peers.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there!
My name is Jennifer Reichhart. I have a Bachelor's degree in English Education and have been teaching English and Reading to middle and high school learners for over ten years.
I offer English classes for grammar, writing, and novels. I also have social courses in areas that I am experienced and passionate about, such as films, television shows, and PC gaming. I have chosen these social class topics based on personal experiences and passions. More classes will become available along the way as I am constantly working and expanding my class list.
My teaching style is straightforward and shoots from the hip, with humor and pop culture sprinkled in. I enjoy using Prezi Presentations for my classes and find them more engaging and fun than PowerPoint. To help solidify learning, I use real-life examples, movie and television show references, games, and conversation. These tried and true methods have translated well to the virtual classroom from my in-person learning experience.
Teaching has been my passion since I was a little girl, and I cannot wait to share what I know and have learned with you.
*Note* If you see a class you like but cannot find a day or time that works for you, send me a message so we can work you into my schedule.
