Parental Guidance
Any course that discusses mythology and the human condition is going to include sensitive subjects like death. That being said, it will not be described in gory detail, but it is a part of both the lore and Celtic History. Irish Mythology is Pre-Christian and thus is discusses ideas and themes that exist without Christian influence. This subject is taught in a secular way and encourages questions about the human condition. Please feel free to contact me about this. Also: If you have a mature 8 or 9 years old, please contact me and I can open the class to them as well.
Supply List
A one-page handout on Pre-Christian Irish History will be provided. A powerpoint will be used, as well as a video that we will watch together. A worksheet with student led choice will be provided (that needs to be printed) for students to complete.
