The fundamentals of cello playing: Proper posture, holding the instrument, bowing techniques, and how to produce a beautiful sound. Music theory basics: Learn to read music notation, understand rhythm, and develop your musical ear. A variety of music styles: We'll explore classical, folk, and even some popular music selections tailored to your interests. Mindset: it is really important to work on the mind. At the moment of each performance we need to have a clear mind to be able to play as well as we can. How is the class structured? Warm-up activities: Each class begins with engaging exercises to develop coordination, rhythm, and musicality. Skill-building: Learn new techniques and refine existing ones through guided practice. Repertoire exploration: We'll work on individual pieces chosen based on your skill level and musical preferences. How will you be taught? My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on making learning fun! I believe in tailoring my approach to each student's individual needs and learning pace. The class will be a positive and supportive environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and celebrate your progress. Let's do it!!!
