Cell Safari: A Tour of Prokaryotic & Eukaryotic Cell
In this one-time class, students will identify and explain the similarities and differences between Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cells. A confusing Middle and High School Science/ Biology concept made easy through an interactive lesson.
What's included
1 live meeting
50 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
👉The learners will go on a Cell Safari exploring the similarities and differences between bacterial cells and animal cells. This exploration is fully packed with 👉collaboration boards where learners will interact with each other and the teacher, 👉3D Models, and simulations that will enhance the observation skills and help learners to make their own hypothesis, 👉Draw- it activities that will help the learner test their hypothesis and gather data on the concept and draw conclusions based on their data. 👉Video and Venn diagram will help the learner expand their understanding. 👉An interactive game and Match- it activity at the end will be used for evaluation. After attending the class this will never be a confusing concept for you anymore.
Learning Goals

I am an enthusiastic educator with more than 10 years of experience fostering academic learning and enhancing critical-thinking abilities. I incorporate effective multiple learning techniques to establish a creative and stimulating classroom environment. I am a dedicated, resourceful teacher skilled in building rapport with students, and parents and having a solid educational background in Science.
I have a Master of Science in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science in General Science (Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany), Bachelor of Education. I am currently working as a Middle School Science Teacher in Florida. Subjects I have taught so far include Life Science, Earth Science, Earth, and Space Honors, Environmental Science Honors, Physical science, Chemistry, and Biology.
Throughout the course of my career, I have perfected my classroom management and lesson planning abilities. I am a capable and consistent problem-solver, skilled at prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency. In the last ten years, I have taught science to scholars from Kindergarten to Grade 10. I am passionate about Science and like to bring that energy into the classroom encouraging my students to observe, ask questions and think like
a Scientist. My classes are designed with diverse groups of students in mind. I also integrate technology with Science by using virtual labs, simulations, 3D tours, educational games, videos, and collaboration boards. My classes focus on different learning styles by encouraging
students to explore the science concepts using hands-on experiences that involves all or most of their senses. I believe there is no better way to learn science than to see it face-to-face. When students understand how science looks in the real world, it suddenly becomes something exciting that they want to learn more about.
I also integrate technology in Science by using virtual labs, simulations, 3D tours, educational games, videos, and collaboration boards.
On a personal note: I believe every child is gifted. It's just that some open their packages earlier than others.
