In this one time class, we will look a the origins of St. Patrick's Day, the history, music & cultural relevance of this Irish figure. You'll also learn a little bit of the Irish (Gaelic) language to impress your friends!

Description

Class Experience

All students will be able to recall the story of St Patrick and the significance of St. Patricks Day
Most students will recall some basic Irish Phrases. 
BA Politics / Postgraduate Certificate Education (English Specialist) 
- Grew up in Ireland
There is no official homework but further reading will be given for those who would like it! 
Students understanding of the topic will be checked throughout the class through questioning.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
