Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15 - October 15th! In this class we will learn what countries are in Central and South America and the top 8 Landmarks to see there, including the Panama Canal, Chichen Itza in Mexico, Easter Island, Chile and the Amazon rain forest. To begin class, students will review the continents as well as countries in Central and South America through an interactive slideshow including photos and trivia. Throughout the lesson, students will be asked questions to encourage critical thinking and improve retention. Literacy, vocabulary and map skills are also enforced as students follow along and take turns reading while learning interesting information. At the end of the lesson students will play a game to review the landmarks. 3 printables are also provided, to be completed during class or for bonus homework.

Hi! I'm Miss Tatiana. I am an 8th year Home-Educator as well as a Photographer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. My passions include Geography, World Cultures, Art History, Conservation and Animals!

I have organized group service projects and extracurricular classes such as Art shows, Geography Fairs, STEAM workshops, LEGO Club, Green Team Recycling, and more! I am also the founder of a Multicultural Homeschool community and offer classes focused on world cultures, art and various other subjects.
