Celebrate Summer~Shark Book Club~Developing a Love of Reading and Sharks
In this four time class, we will read about sharks and have book talks. We will discuss the author, the author's purpose, the illustrator, sequence the story in a retelling and make predictions along the way.

Description
Class Experience
~Students will strengthen listening skills while having a story read to them. ~Students will practice using active listening skills. ~Students will use language skills when retelling the sequence of the story and using first, next, then, and last ~Students will strengthen reading skills to actively predict what events will happen next. ~Students will hear stories read with fluency and expression. ~Students will demonstrate a love of non-fiction stories.
Read a good book before bed! :)
Grab a comfy chair to listen to a fun SHARK story!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
