How Outschool Works
Don't see a time that works for you?
Let's celebrate the return of this season of glorious colors, cool breezes, falling leaves, sweaters, and cozying up to story-time! We'll get to know each other and have fun whilst doing it! There will be fall-themed chatting, some challenges, and - of course - games! We will also try a bit of origami, share a story or two, and then round off the evening on a quiet note with a lovely short film. Wear your comfy pajamas and bring your pillow it's going to be great! Favorite stuffy friends...
Learners will need a BINGO board and something to mark the numbers called. Any printed or handmade board will work. "B" (numbers 1–15), "I" (numbers 16–30), "N" (numbers 31–45), "G" (numbers 46–60), and "O" (numbers 61–75). There are many options for bingo markers like popcorn kernels, pennies, dried beans, or even just checking them off with a pen. You will need a single die and something to draw on and with to play a dice & drawing game. If you don't have dice handy there are online dice rollers you may choose to use. Any blank sheet(s) of paper or notebook or canvas with any writing implement(s) will do. A small snack with a little cup of hot cocoa is encouraged but not necessary.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I'll be screen sharing an age appropriate YouTube animated short film. (under five minutes)
