We will discuss upcoming American holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July). Students will identify symbols that represent America and ways we celebrate patriotic holidays. Students will then watch a demonstration of how to create two paper collage art projects: An American flag and fireworks using construction paper, scrap-paper, and other objects. They will then each create their own collage-style American flag or fireworks art (if time allows they can make both). Each students' artwork will be unique. This class is perfect for blooming artists!
