Description
Class Experience
This is a one time class that will cover the Grade 1 material, as presented through the Cecchetti Council of America. Students should have some exposure and familiarity to Cecchetti Grade 1 before attending this class. This class is meant to enhance and reinforce the dancers other ballet classes. This is a great opportunity to review the material before an exam or to hone your technique and build more confidence within the Cecchetti method. Students are welcome to attend this class as...
Students will improve their technique at the Cecchetti Grade 1 level.
Students should wear ballet shoes. Girls should wear leotard and tights, with hair neatly in a bun (or out of the face if a bun is not possible). Boys should wear sports pants or shorts that are not too lose or baggy (tights if they are comfortable in tights) and a plain t-shirt (white is traditional, but any will be fine). A barre is not needed, but something that could be used as a barre (chair, countertop, etc) will be needed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
For safety, please ensure that your dancer has enough space to move without running into furniture, tripping over objects or potentially falling onto furniture or objects.
