In this introductory course, I will teach younger students how to understand causes and effects. They will be introduced to necessary and sufficient causes, and will spend class-time discussing different types of causes and effects.
Class experience
In this one-time course, younger students will be introduced to the basics of causes and effects. They will learn how one event can cause another event and how we can think logically using causes and effects. I will start with basic examples like "The rain causes the grass to get wet." I will then ask them about more complex effects that require multiple causes to happen, like listing all the things we can do to improve our grades in school (contributory causes). Masters and Bachelors degrees in philosophy. I have experience teaching children ages 4-12 with VIPKid. I also taught introduction to logic courses in graduate school.
My own philosophical expertise is enough here. I was taught the basics of causes and effects by my logic professors at RIT and GSU. I have a BA and MA in philosophy.
