Join our exciting weekly sessions and learn the secrets to drawing fierce cats with personality. Unleash Your Inner Warrior Cat! Learn to draw your favorite Warriors characters with our weekly lessons! Here's what you can expect: Step-by-step instructions for all levels, from beginners to experienced artists. Detailed lessons focused on cat anatomy, expressions, and poses. Fun and interactive sessions with a supportive community of new Warriors fans. A new lesson every week featuring popular characters from the series. This class requires a pencil, an eraser, and a piece of paper. I encourage your artist to draw digitally, but I do not teach digitally. ~ IMPORTANT~ Be on time for class! This is a step-by-step lesson, and you need to be on time. If your artist is late, I will let them in class, and they can participate where we are in the drawing. I will offer your artist the option of doing the complete lesson on the recording after class has finished and the lesson has been uploaded to the cloud. ~Here are the four things you should know about Ongoing Classes at Outschool. + Ongoing classes are subscription-based and meet at week. After enrolling, you will be charged weekly on Sunday mornings (according to Pacific Time) until you stop your subscription. + Each payment covers your learner’s weekly access to the class meeting following the Sunday charge; this includes the recorded lesson if you stay enrolled. +If you miss a class, the recorded lesson is available for up to 30 days on the classroom page. + There is a new option to pause your learner's subscription. This allows you to remain enrolled and take a week or two off. However, it does not give you access to the recorded lessons you missed and does not secure your spot in the class. Artists are also welcome to ask for help at any point during class, so they never have to worry about getting stuck. ~As always in my classes, I encourage artists to create in their style or follow along with me as we make cute cats. I will do a different pose and cat style each week for various cats. New ideas and cat names are always welcome! ~Paper, a pencil, and an eraser are all you please see the supplies I will use for each lesson. Digital drawing, colored pencils, or markers are always welcome in class! I encourage every artist to use what works best for them. Teacher expertise and credentials
Unleash your inner artist with drawing lessons for young creators!
Do you have a young artist who loves drawing:
Dragons like Toothless from HTTYD or the fierce tribes of Wings of Fire?
The brave cats of Warrior Clans or the wonders of real animals?
Maybe their imagination wants to create something entirely new!
No matter what they love to draw, I'm here to help them learn and grow!
My passion is to inspire young people to:
~Find courage and confidence in their creativity.
~Master the skills to bring their artistic visions to life.
~Have fun and enjoy the process of creating.
From basic drawing techniques to exploring different mediums, my interactive classes are designed to:
~Build confidence and self-esteem.
~Spark the imagination and fuel creativity.
~Develop essential skills like observation and problem-solving.
~Most importantly, foster a lifelong love for art!
Whether your young artist is a beginner or wants to refine their skills, I have a class for them!
My journey began with sketching as a child and working on graphic designs for T-shirts as a teen. As an adult, I have designed and painted larger-than-life murals and now teach art classes to the public. I currently teach weekly live worldwide art classes online. I get in-person interaction with my local events for those in the Houston, Texas, area!
I reside in Houston, Texas, and I am a homeschooled mom of three. (2 graduated, and one will graduate in 2024). And a proud U.S. Marine Mom! When not putting my latest art onto paper, I can be found "pumping iron" at the gym with my husband of over 27 years. My family is very committed to saving animals, and our house is always full of foster animals from our local animal shelter! Beware, you may see or hear a puppy, kitten, or guinea pig in a live class!
My passion is inspiring young people to find courage and confidence in their creations! Imagination is the doorway to being able to express yourself and be happy!
Motto: Be who you needed when you were younger.
