In this one time class we will share our love for cats! We will each share a funny story about our pet cat (or toy). We will also draw and/or color this cute animal by following teacher directions.

Do you love cats? Do you have a pet cat?!? During this class we will share our love for cats. Each student will share their pet cat (or toy). Each student will share a funny story about their cat and have great conversations with the teacher and other students around the same age group. We will also complete a directed drawing. 1. We will introduce ourselves (if the student is comfortable doing so) 2. We will have a short discussion about what we already know about cats. 3. Each student will have a few minutes to share their cat. (Students may share their actual cat, a picture, or a toy) I want students to focus on telling a funny story about their cat. 4. We will draw and color a picture of a cat. I will show the students step by step how to draw this cute animal! 5. We will share our cat pictures with the class (if time allows) 6. Goodbye!
Learning Goals
Students will be able to describe their pet cat (or toy). They will practice their speaking and conversational skills by sharing a funny story. Students will draw a cat. They will practice their listening skills.

Supply List
The student will need 1. White Paper (if the student does not want to draw they may print out the attached document to color) 2. Pencil 3. Crayons, markers, or colored pencils (whichever is preferred) 4. a cat, cat picture, or cat toy

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
