Come and discuss the book, Cat Kid Comic Club with other Dav Pilkey fans! Create your own comic and share your own comics during this three session class! Week one: Discuss the book, Cat Kid Comic Club! Who are your favorite characters? What is your favorite comic within the comic? Begin a discussion about your favorite things and activities to begin a basic comic story line! Decide the characters you will use in your comic! Help others by sharing your outline and determined characters! Week two: Discuss different elements of a comic including, panels, gutters, beginning, middle and endings! Think of examples of jokes and descriptive scenery you can use in your comic! Listen and help others with their comic club journey! Week three: finalize your comic! Decide on your comic title page and about the author page! Share ideas for new comics or another edition of your comic! Enjoy listening to comics by other students! Make new friends and develop your drawing and comic creating skills!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I love teaching music, math, creative writing and art! I am a licensed k-12 music teacher but have many hobbies and interests. I have taught elementary music for fourteen years! I have a masters degree in education and a bachelors of music education. I have also taught English Language Learning online to Chinese speakers and have tutored students in many different disciplines. I think learning should be fun, relevant and geared to every learner. I love bringing out the creative side in your student! I have a twin sister and two young boys!
