This class will be offered one time in a circle time format. The theme of the circle will be vehicles and we will do all of the following with that in mind: sing songs, read a book, watch a video, do an activity, and learn about various types of vehicles. This class will be interactive and lots of fun to keep the learners engaged! I am a patient, calm, and animated teacher. The learners will be able to interact by joining along in songs and dances, answering questions during the book reading, participating in the activity, and having discussions about vehicles. No experience or knowledge is needed in advance of taking this course.
Learning Goals
The students will learn some basic information about various types of vehicles and the definition of a vehicle. I will also be incorporating literacy skills, pre-math skills, and social/emotional learning within the circle time.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

We will be reading "My Truck Is Stuck" by Kevin Lewis. We will be singing a song called "Drivin in My Car" along with "The Wheels on the Bus".

I've been teaching young children for the past 13 years and have experience teaching preschool children of all developmental levels. I have my Masters in Child & Family Studies and my Birth to Kindergarten (BK) License.
I focus heavily on social/emotional learning along with literacy and pre-academic skills. I enjoy using songs, books, activities, and group discussions to teach a variety of skills.
