Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - 1
To begin each class, I will welcome the students and tell them a science fact about cars or trucks. Then after, students will introduce themselves and then have the chance to share their car or truck if they want to. The science topics will briefly touch on: aerodynamics, energy, force, and friction. If time permits, we will end with a dance party with our cars.

Looking for something more? I also offer classes designed with more engineering and science for 5-9 year olds as well as 9-14 year olds. Each age-leveled class dives deeper into the science of force and motion.

 Science topics addressed this series:

Energy- Why do crashing cars make noise?
Aerodynamics:Learn about air resistance and parachutes.
Aerodynamics:What is a spoiler?
Energy- How to increase your potential energy.
Force-Do heavier cars travel different?
Force-What materials on a track can slow a car down best?
Aerodynamics:What is a splitter?
Energy- loops or hills
Force- Does a paper towel slow the car down?
Aerodynamics- Can your spoiler car beat a non spoiler car?
