Welcome to our weekly pen and ink drawing class for scientists, historians and artists alike, where together we will learn how to draw and how to use a variety of shading techniques to create both realistic drawings and cartoons. This art class is perfect for beginning artists and specializes in using step by step drawing and shading demonstrations to help blossoming artists perfect their skills. I have gone to school for art education and have obtained my teaching degree via Grand Valley State University and have been certified for art education for grades young five through twelfth grade. I specialize in integrating general curriculum subject matter such as art, English, science, social studies and history into my lesson plans to ensure homeschool population gets ample opportunity to meet minimum state standards while learning how to draw and having fun.
Those with anxiety have the option to turn off their cameras after attendance has been taken and use the chat box/reactions to participate. All directions are given in step by step format & the pace of the class is determined by the learner
Being comfortable with drawing basic shapes is essential for this class.
