This ongoing drawing class is designed to help understand the concepts of using one point and two point perspective to create a sense of depth and realistic space while focusing on famous places and historical architecture. This class is geared for those who already have experience in drawing and would like to expand their skills by experimenting with using vanishing points to create a sense of depth and space. Topics like one point and two point perspective, will be covered frequently in this class. We will also specialize in using different shading techniques to create realistic texture ranging from pointillism, hatching, smudging and cross hatching. We will begin with a chance for students to share their good news. Next, we will briefly discuss what historical place or famous landmark we will be focusing on for that current day and focus shortly on it's historical context before we begin to draw. Class will end with a brief show and tell, however sharing works is optional and not necessarily required. **THE ART TOPICS WE WILL COVER FOR THIS YEAR ARE LISTED BELOW & WILL ROTATE ANNUALLY AT THE END OF EACH YEAR*** –DECEMBER– 12/3/23-12/9/23 MATERNITY LEAVE 12/10/23-12/16/23 MATERNITY LEAVE 12/17/23-12/23/23 How to Draw Iceland’s Hallgrimskirkja Church 12/24/23-12/30/23 How to Draw Reyniskirkja Church of Iceland **THERE WILL BE NO CLASS ON 12/24/23 OR 12/25/23** ---2024 SCHEDULE--- --JANUARY-- 1/1/24-1/6/24 How to Draw Awesome Ashikaga Flower Park 1/7/24-1/13/24 How to Draw Honorable Himjei Castle 1/14/23-1/20/24 How to Draw Magical Mount Fuji of Japan 1/21/23-1/27/24 How to Draw Snow Monkey Mountain 1/28/23-1/31/24 How to Draw Thunder Gate of Japan **THE LAST LESSON FOR THIS MONTH WILL EXTEND INTO 2/3/24** --FEBRUARY-- 2/4/24-2/10/24 How to Draw China's Glass Boardwalk 2/11/24-2/17/24 How to Draw China's Temple of Heaven 2/18/24-2/24/24 How to Draw Shanghai Tower of China 2/25/24-2/29/24 How to Draw the Great Wall of China **THE LAST LESSON FOR THIS MONTH WILL CONTINUE INTO 3/2/24** --MARCH-- 3/3/24-3/9/24 How to Draw Giant's Causeway of Ireland 3/10/24-3/16/24 How to Draw Ireland's Cliffs of Moher 3/17/24-3/23/24 How to Draw Kinsale of Ireland 3/24/24-3/30/24 How to Draw Torc Waterfall of Ireland **NO CLASS ON THE 3/17/24 ** --APRIL-- 4/1/24-4/6/24 How to Draw the Chile's Colorful Village of Chiloe 4/7/24-4/13/24 How to Draw the Desert Hand of Chile 4/14/24-4/20/24 How to Draw the Elusive Easter Island 4/21/24-4/27/24 How to Draw the Marble Caves of Chile --MAY-- 4/28/24-5/4/24 How to Draw Bacalar Lagoon Mexico 5/5/24-5/11/24 How to Draw Chichen Itza Mexico 5/12/24-5/18/24 How to Draw Mazatlan Mexico 5/19/24-5/25/24 How to Draw Mexico City 5/26/24-5/31/24 TBD **THE LAST LESSON FOR THIS MONTH WILL EXTEND INTO 6/1/24** -- JUNE-- 6/4/24-6/10/24 How to Draw Melbourne Cricket Grounds Australia 6/11/24-6/17/24 How to Draw Queen Victoria's Building Australia 6/18/24-6/24/24 How to Draw the Sydney Opera House of Australia 6/25/24-6/30/24 How to Draw the Sydney Tower Eye of Australia **THE LAST LESSON FOR THIS MONTH WILL EXTEND INTO 7/1/23** --JULY-- 7/2/24-7/8/24 How to Draw the Golden Gate Bridge 7/9/24-7/15/24 How to Draw the Grand Canyon 7/16/24-7/22/24 How to Draw the Statue of Liberty 7/23/24-7/29/24 How to Draw the American White House 7/30/24-7/31/24 How to Draw Yosemite National Park **THE LAST LESSON FOR THIS MONTH WILL EXTEND INTO 8/5/24** --AUGUST-- 8/6/24-8/12/24 How to Draw the Majestic Mein Gate of Belgium 8/13/24-8/19/24 How to Draw Belgium's Atomium Sculpture 8/20/24-8/26/24 How to Draw Bruges Belgium 8/27/24-8/31/24 How to Draw Durbuy Belgium **THE LAST LESSON FOR THIS MONTH WILL EXTEND INTO 9/2/24** --SEPTEMBER-- 9/3/24-9/9/24 How to Draw Vietnam's Ako Dhong Village 9/10/24-9/16/24 How to Draw the Ba Na Hills of Vietnam 9/17/24-9/23/24 How to Draw Ho Chi Minh City 9/24/24-9/28/24 How to Draw Lao Cai City **THE LAST LESSON FOR THIS MONTH WILL EXTEND INTO 9/2/24** --OCTOBER-- 9/29/24-10/5/24 How to Draw Britain's Haunted Blickling Hall Estate 10/6/24-10/12/24 How to Draw the Haunted Village of Pluckley Kent 10/13/24-10/19/24 How to Draw the Haunted Whitby Abbey of Yorkshire 10/20/24-10/26/24 How to Draw the Magical Margam Abbey Club Castle 10/27/23-10/31/24 How to Draw the Big Ben Clock Tower **THE LAST LESSON FOR THIS MONTH WILL EXTEND INTO 11/2/24** --NOVEMBER-- 11/3/24-11/9/24 How to Draw the Charminar Palace of India 11/10/24-11/16/24 How to Draw India's City Palace of Jaipur 11/17/24-11/23/24 How to Draw the Floating Islands of India 11/24/24-11/30/24 How to Draw the Taj Mahal of India ****THERE WILL BE NO CLASS ON 11/27/24 OR 11/28/24**** --DECEMBER-- 12/1/24-12/7/24 How to Draw the Amazing Canals of Amsterdam 12/8/24-12/14/24 How to Draw the Royal Palace of Amsterdam 12/15/24-12/21/24 How to Draw the Windmills of the Netherlands 12/22/24-12/28/24 How to Draw the Witte Huis of Rotterdam ****THERE WILL BE NO CLASS ON 12/24/24 OR 12/25/24****
