Has your learner always dreamed of a career working with animals? For kids who love animals and the environment, a career in a zoo or aquarium or in wildlife biology may be just the spot for them. Whether in zoos, aquariums, research centers, or out in nature, working with wildlife allows you to explore your passion and feel a sense of empowerment to help save our planet. Students will explore the day-to-day lives of wildlife professionals to see if a career working with animals is for them! I will use a Google Slide presentation during the pre-recorded video lessons. There will be optional assignments to encourage students to investigate volunteer opportunities in their area. --- I am a former educator at zoos, aquariums, and nature centers and have worked on a variety of wildlife biology projects, so I am well versed in the many roles and responsibilities of a variety of careers. During COVID, I founded an educational organization that teaches zoology and ecology to kids all around the world. I cannot wait to introduce your learner to some of the amazing careers that furthered my passion for animals and nature.
