Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
In this class, students will learn how to develop a real-world view about a potential career in practicing law. Students will learn what the journey to law school involves, what will set them apart from other students competing for acceptance into law school, and what skills they can start working on now to help them achieve success in their future career as a lawyer. My students will also learn that being a lawyer is an option for a variety of people with different personality traits. When a student leaves this class, they will be one step closer to deciding if this is a career option that suits them. If they have decided it is, that is a win. If they decide it's not, that is also a win. A successful career begins with a decision.
I will provide my students with a printout to fill out during this class. They will need to make sure that this printout is with them because I will be referring to it often, and it will be something that they can consult in the future.
1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.
