As a prior Navy Recruit Division Commander (Drill Sargent) it is important to know how to best navigate your beginning time in service. I am not recruiting or steering students in any direction. My goal is to encourage knowledge and tips in expectations before joining. This particular class will only focus on the 5 specific areas in relation to career development. Students can ask questions detailed to the topics but I will not go into great detail on military lifestyle or my career in this...

Students gearing towards military options will gain a better understanding of what to expect and how to navigate this option.

I am a Navy veteran with just shy of 10 years active duty service and 4 years reserve duty service. I am also a military spouse and have brothers and nephews in the service. I am passionate about teaching young people on the ups and downs of service life. Helping men and women join with excellent expectations to be the best they can be.

Through classroom discussion and group participation. I will review to confirm understanding of topic areas.

1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
