Hi families! This class is designed to get your child moving! Between virtual schooling and video watching, sitting with a screen can easily become a significant part of your child's day - with this class we transform our screen time into engaging movement. Class Lesson Plan : 1. Welcome 2. Warm Up 3. Bonus Move Breakdown (Jumping Jacks, High Knees and Mountain Climbers) 4. Zoo Animal Relay 5. Build Our Own Yoga Flow 7. Cool down Students do not need to be muted, as participation is encouraged. The Bonus Moves will be repeated at different intervals throughout the class. Modifications for these, and every other pose/exercise will be given. I have been a children's fitness and yoga instructor since 2017 and thoroughly enjoy seeing children master a new skill, build confidence and have fun along the way. Yoga can be seen as something slow or boring, and in this class we take the concept of yoga and intertwine it with cardio exercises, games and laughter! A mat is not required. However, students should have a soft area (carpeted is fine) free from furniture or anything else that could be a hazard with movement.

Parental Guidance
Students will be moving around, so a safe area clear from furniture or anything else potentially dangerous is required.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been an active children's fitness and yoga instructor since 2017. In 2018 I received my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate. My classes focus on safety, having fun and helping children grow in their self confidence - whether that be a cool move they made up and are excited to share or remembering the name of our abdominal muscles.
