This class is scheduled by demand. This can be a one-on-one class, or a class with siblings or friends. 2 students would change the price to $20 each, 3 students = $15 each, 4 or more = $12 per learner. Please let me know if you'd like me to open up your time slot to others. I'm teaching this class because I have a passion for teaching AND the auto industry. My goal for students is for them to develop an understanding of the ways they can purchase their first car. I would love for them to leave with an idea of what options might work best for them.
I sold cars for 6 years, 2 of them being as a sales manager, and I was a service advisor for 2 more years as well. I have experience in ordering inventory, training salespeople, working with finance companies, manufacturers (Ford, Mazda, Nissan, Honda), warranty companies, and with every person who works in any role at a new or used car dealership. I've worked at an "old-school" family-owned store (Earnhardt's), as well as a large, more-evolved corporate organization (AutoNation).
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- Google Slides
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please know that this class will be focused on the facts of buying a car, different options, and the objective advantages and disadvantages that come with them. We have a lot to cover! I welcome questions with open arms, but do ask that students refrain from sharing anecdotes, stereotypes, and personal opinions or biases that may not be helpful to other students. The great thing about all the choices we have in this experience, is that everyone will find what works for them given the space to do so. In order for everyone to get the most out of this class, we need to keep the momentum going in a constructive way.
I will post the Google Slide Presentation to our classroom wall. Upon doing so, you may start posting your questions in the parking lot (slide 2). I will answer as many as I can during class!
