In this one-time class students will learn all about the Capybara, from its habitat to its unique personality to its family life. Learners will be guided by the teacher who has hands-on experience caring for four Capybaras. The teacher will share personal photos and stories about what it takes to care for this unique animal. A focus will be on conservation of this magnificent and cute animal. Students will be delve into video, handouts, creative options and multimedia presentations that are all guided by the teacher. At the end of the class students will learn how to draw a cute Capybara in its natural environment. Learners will be encouraged to share their artwork at the end of class.
