The session will consist of a brief review of the rules introduced in "Capitalization Rulebook I" before introducing the new capitalization rules. Students will learn by participating in various interactive activities during class. After participating in class activities, students will have opportunities to answer questions to ensure understanding of each newly introduced capitalization rule.
The session will consist of learning the following capitalization rules: 1. Capitalizing proper nouns 2. Capitalizing initials/abbreviation 3 Geographical places 4. Capitalizing titles of respect 5. Capitalizing titles of works Students will learn by participating in various interactive activities during class. After participating in class activities, students will have opportunities to answer questions to ensure understanding of each newly introduced capitalization rule.
I have 15 years of classroom experience teaching grammar to elementary students. I enjoy guiding students toward learning to express themselves in their writing. I have published one book, and I am working on another one during my spare time.
The learner's participation in the assigned classroom activities will be used to measure the learner's understanding of the lesson.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I recommend taking Capitalization Rulebook I prior to attending Capitalization Rulebook II.
