Does your child love to dream, explore, and create? ✈️ In this 1-on-1 Canva class, they’ll design their dream trip - turning big travel ideas into colorful, custom projects while learning real graphic design skills along the way. Whether they’re new to Canva or already comfortable with the basics, I’ll guide them step-by-step as we explore a location of their choice and bring it to life through creative, travel-themed designs. This flexible class lets you book one session or as many as you'd like! We’ll work through a set list of projects, one at a time, with plenty of room for creativity. You’re welcome to opt out of any topics your child isn’t interested in. If they’d rather explore those details with me during class, that works too! Pre-Requisites
No experience is required - I’ll teach Canva as we go while building each project.
Supply List
For certain sessions, I’ll provide research gathering guides to help students organize what they learn. If they find images outside of Canva, they can upload them to their computer, and I’ll guide them on how to add them to their design.

Students will need access to a free Canva account. While the paid version offers more creative options, it’s not required—your child can still enjoy designing and complete all projects using the free version.
If your child is doing research outside of class, it’s suggested that parents are aware of the websites their child is visiting. If they’ll be choosing sites during class, please be familiar with the fact that we may access online resources together.

Hi families!
I’m a self-taught Canva user and teach a variety of creative classes on Outschool, where I help kids feel confident using design to express their ideas. I created this travel-themed class to bring together two of my favorite things: creativity and exploring different cultures.
Travel has played a big role in my life. I especially enjoy solo trips where I can step out of my comfort zone and experience life like a local. I’ve volunteered in Central America, visited several countries across Europe, and love learning about how people live around the world. I also enjoy reading books about different cultures and traditions, and I bring that same curiosity into this class.
In addition to my work with kids, I have years of experience teaching at the college level, where I focused on cultural practices and perspectives - something that continues to shape how I teach today.
In this class, I guide learners through designing their own travel adventure while encouraging creativity and cultural curiosity every step of the way.
