Activities: Discuss the use of color, fonts, and images. Hands-on activity: Design an invitation for a fictional event. Share and discuss designs with the class.Lesson 3Flyer DesignObjective: Develop skills to create attractive and effective flyers. Activities: Learn about layout and typography. Create a promotional flyer for a school event. Peer review session to exchange feedback.Lesson 4Creating Comic StripsObjective: Combine text and images to tell a story. Activities: Introduction to narrative in design. Design a short comic strip based on a given theme. Students will learn what graphic design is and how to create with that medium.

Students will be assessed through a series of design challenges given each session. These challenges will encourage students to apply the concepts they have learned in class, allowing them to demonstrate their understanding and skills in graphic design. Feedback will be provided to guide their learning and development.Grades Offered
Requirements: Students will need a laptop to complete this class. Tablets and IPads will not work with this class. Students will also need to create a Canva.com account.
