Ready to unleash your creativity and dive into the world of graphic design? Welcome to our Canva Creations Social Club!

Join us in this dynamic and interactive club where you'll get to share, present, and collaborate on individual or group projects using Canva, the popular graphic design tool. Whether you're using the free or paid version, you'll have the flexibility to create a wide range of visual content, from social media graphics and presentations to posters, documents, and more!

Each week, we'll work on our projects during class. If you don't finish, don't worry! You can share a link to your completed design after class!

We'll also brainstorm themes for our designs, allowing your creativity to flow freely. It's a supportive environment where everyone can offer feedback and encouragement to fellow Canva Creations Social Club members.

No need to be a Canva expert! As long as you're somewhat familiar with the platform, you're welcome to join and learn as we go. Let's get creative together!

Learning Goals
Learning goals for Canva projects with kids can focus on developing creativity, technical skills, and teamwork, while also integrating educational concepts. Here are some learning goals that could be associated with these projects:

1. Creative Expression: Encourage kids to use their imagination to create unique designs. This goal promotes creativity and artistic expression.

2. Basic Design Principles: Teach kids about design concepts like balance, color, contrast, and layout. This goal helps them understand the fundamentals of graphic design.

3. Technology Skills: Help kids become comfortable with digital tools, developing basic skills in using Canva and navigating technology interfaces.

4. Communication: Encourage kids to communicate their ideas effectively through visual elements, text, and layout choices.

5. Collaboration and Teamwork: Foster teamwork by allowing kids to work in groups on certain projects. This goal helps them learn how to collaborate and share ideas.

6. Project Planning and Organization: Teach kids how to plan a project, choose a theme, and organize their work. This helps develop project management skills.

7. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Encourage kids to make decisions about design elements and solve problems as they work on their projects.

8. Learning Through Themes: Integrate educational content into the projects. For example, creating an animal fact sheet can involve researching and presenting information, while a comic strip might involve storytelling and scriptwriting.

9. Presentation Skills: Allow kids to present their projects to the group, building their confidence in public speaking and presentation.

10. Feedback and Reflection: Encourage kids to give and receive constructive feedback on their projects, promoting reflection and growth.

These learning goals aim to make the experience both fun and educational, providing kids with valuable skills they can use in various aspects of their development.
