•Students will create a Canva account and explore the main features.
•Students will learn to use essential Canva tools and choose templates.
•Students will practice adding, editing, and customizing text.

Lesson 2:
Exploring Design Elements and Poster Creation
•Students will customize a poster template.
•Students will organize text and images in a visually appealing way.
•Students will learn to add and modify shapes and icons.
•Students will apply backgrounds, patterns, and textures to their designs. 3 assignments
Lesson 3:
Creating Basic Projects (Invitations)
•Students will personalize an invitation template.
•Students will download and print their invitations.

Lesson 4:
Dynamic Video Designs
•Students will incorporate and edit videos in Canva.
•Students will animate text and images.

Parental Guidance
Students will need to have their own Canva account (free basic plan) prior to class start date. We will use Canva to create and modify digital art templates such as posters, invitations, and social media graphics.
