Welcome to the Canine Writing Club! This class is for learners to come together with a common interest of dogs and writing about them. This is a "for fun" class where we will discuss different groups of dogs, breeds, dog jobs, and more! We also discuss story elements because, each week, you will write or add to your own story about a dog! You can also illustrate your story if you wish. This class is set up as a club to allow for learner-directed conversations and time to write/draw within the class time. The flow of class will be guided by a slideshow. If you have taken one of my other canine-related classes or if this is your first class with me or on Outschool, you are welcome to join! Students can join, leave, drop in as they wish for certain weeks. If you have any questions, please, send me a message. If you do not see a time that works for you, request a new one! Thank you!
Learning Goals
Students will discuss elements of story writing and science in the canine world.Students will name facts about the 7 groups of dogs.
