A choice board will be reviewed at the end of class and the instructions explained by the teacher. The pdf can be found after class as an attachment on a classroom post on the classroom page. Students complete one choice from the choice board to complete. This assignment is due by the next week. Students can post to the classroom page to share their work with the rest of the class. If they prefer to only share with me, they can message me to share their work.Assessment

The Island Fox is one of many amazing canines in the world! In this class, we focus in on all the details about this special canine. Students learn several vocabulary words related to our canine and other important facts such as habitat, diet, adaptations, vocalizations, and more! A slideshow will be shown to share pictures, information, and questions. These questions are placed within our lesson to encourage participation and deeper understanding. After class a choice board will be provided. Students will be sent a choice board to choose one activity to complete for homework with a small array of fun activities related to our canine. A choice board sort of looks link a bingo card but in each square, there is a different option to choose from. These options will be different assignments students can choose from that appeals to their learning style/interests. A choice board allows students choice between a variety of activities that will extend their learning while also allowing them to show their knowledge. If there is time, we will begin working on our choice board assignments in class. Students can take their time, have fun, and enjoy creating their assignment. Hello! My name is Ms. C. I am so excited to see you in my Outschool classroom! I offer many classes related to dogs, wildlife, science, reading, and writing. I love teaching topics from the beautiful animals here on Earth to the gorgeous stars in the sky. I love incorporating reading, art and science all together. I have my Associate’s degree in Animal Science, Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle Dual Education with a specialization in Science. I am a certified teacher, and I am currently a substitute teacher and an Outschool teacher. I strive to support all my students in learning and welcoming them to a safe space. I encourage creativity, pursuing interests, and a passion for lifelong learning. I enjoy reading, writing, and being outside. A hobby that has always helped me relax has been drawing or painting.
