This is an introduction to the scientific method, no prior knowledge is required. During this investigation students will explore the steps of the scientific method. The exploration focuses on the steps of the method, proper experimentation and data analysis. Following this hands-on activity students will be able to explain each step in the scientific process, variables and controls. There will be no homework for this class. Student progress will be assessed during our discussion and completion of the lab hand-out.

A lab hand-out is provided by the teacher. Parents will need to provide one Tootsie Roll Pop per learner.
