Student will learn and/or review letters and sounds for the alphabet. The vowel sounds will be the short vowel sounds. The students will have fun choosing words of their choice with the beginning sounds of the letters -"CANDY CANE."

US Grade Kindergarten - 1
The student will learn and/or review the alphabet names as well as learn and/or review the basic sounds for the each of the letters. For the vowels the students will only be using the /Short vowels/ and then the students with Teacher support will engage in choosing words from their vocabulary to create an acrostic for the words "CANDY CANE" by creating words with the same beginning sounds.
