Who doesn't love a classic scavenger hunt? This course will allow your child to get up out of their seat, move around and search throughout their own home for a variety of different items. The goal is not just to find the items but to be able to have a discussion about how these items are used and what their different characteristics are. This class will be structured through an open-discussion format and will allow each child to describe their items. The learning will be fun and will be...
Student's will practice using descriptive sentences when discussing their item. They will also be able to discuss the uses of the items found within their home. The goal is to make learning fun while encouraging open dialogue and the use of descriptive talk.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
