This is designed to be an easy, beginner-level course for the Lion King fan and young ukulele student. Together, we will learn the song "Can You Feel The Love Tonight". While this class is beginner-friendly, it is not intended to be an introduction-to-ukulele type of course. Learners will be expected to be familiar with tuning and basic playing technique. Check out my "Tuned In" course for and introductory style format. Specifically, we will be learning the main chorus of the song. These are the lyrics: can you feel the love tonight? the peace the evening brings ....... the world for once ...... in perfect harmony with all its living things ...... Using ukulele tab music, learners will learn how to play both the melody (single note, singing part) and chord progression (strumming) of the song. Music sheet and chord chart will be available for download and are required in order to participate in this class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how both melody (single note phrases) and harmony (chords) work together to bring a song to life.
More importantly, student's will learn how enjoyable it can be to play a song they know and love on their own instrument.
