Challenge your 1st graders to put their skills of adding and subtracting to the test with this exciting digital escape room activity. It is designed around common core math. Students will work on puzzles to open the doors and escape the place they are stuck in. This is a puzzling escape room. Having students work in groups will help them with the tasks. I can also help them when they get stuck or running out of time. In order to complete the four puzzles in this digital escape room, students must know about: Grade 1 Place Value Addition and Subtraction Measurement, data, and geometry Grade 2 Add and Subtract within 20 Place Value Add and Subtract within 100 Add and Subtract within 1000 Money and Time Measurement Data Geometry This is a great cooperative learning activity for students to work on in groups. This escape room can also be done by individuals as an enrichment or review activity, for homework, or for a fun rainy day activity. I have many versions of this for repeated lessons.
