In this one-time class, your student will learn and explore structures from around the world; your young learner will also be encouraged to build some of the structures that we learn about! This exciting STEM and history class will begin with the "question of the day" and this question is designed to encourage your learner to begin thinking about the topic of the class. On our journey around the world, we will visit some of the following structures: Arc de Triomphe, Great Wall of China, Effile Tower, Colliseum, and Stonehenge just to mention a few! We will learn where the structure located and fun facts about each structure. Each learner will be given an opportunity to share the structures that they build and any knowledge that they have about world structures. When children build it encourages creativity, engineering, focus, planning, problem-solving, sharing, and confidence. Let us build, learn, and explore together!
Students will gain knowledge of structures around the world and use creative thinking to build structures.

Greetings, my name is Ms. Wells! My Outschool classes are designed for children ages 3-7 who enjoy learning through music, movement, and hands-on fun! I will be teaching classes centered around reading, science, history, math, and preschool skills. My goal is for my classes to be engaging, educational, and child-centered.
I have studied Early Childhood Education, and I taught Preschool and Kindergarten for 13 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Preschool and kindergarten-age children are my favorite to teach. I enjoy watching them learn and discover something new about the world. As a teacher, my goal is to help my students develop a passion for learning.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my children! We enjoy baking and cooking together, we truly enjoy experimenting with new recipes. My family and I also enjoy taking our daily walk, staying active is very important to me. I look forward to helping your student learn and grow!
