Description

Class Experience

Campfire is the best part of the summer. Children will learn about the enjoyment and excitement of being around a campfire. Once the sun sinks below the horizon you are ready to enjoy the campfire.
 I will begin the class by engaging children in a conversation. Ask them what they know about a campfire.  If any of them had experience with campfire he/she will share the experience with the class.  Students will learn that spending time in nature is very important and it could be very enjoyable too. Most importantly they will learn to be independent as well as teamwork.

Camps are known for providing a safe environment where children gain self-confidence as they learn new skills. A camp is also a place where children develop a variety of social skills (communication, conflict resolution ability).

No homework will be assigned for this class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

There will not be any formal assessment. Children will complete the worksheets.
