Class Experience

Star Wars Watercolor Painting excitement! In this 5-day camp, students are going to learn how to draw and watercolor paint Star Wars characters, artist are welcome to use colored pencils or markers if painting is not their thing!

For younger artists and artists that are not able to attend Camp, I offer 2 different Star Wars Flex Courses!
FLEX Course Draw & Paint Star Wars ~ Boba Fett, Darth Vader, R2-D2,...

This class is taught in English.

Specifics we will learn:
Contouring
Shading
Improve drawing skills
Colors
How to choose pencil types and hardness.
How to choose paper and art mediums.
How to use your paintbrushes.
How to choose and mix watercolor paint.
Create character and form using texture and shading.
Learning perspective views.
I encourage artists to ask me any art questions!!!

  1 file available upon enrollmentWatercolor Painting Class Supplies: 
See the colors in the class pictures that we will be using.
- Paper - "watercolor paper" 9 x 12 (Note this is special paper.  Regular paper will tear and a canvas will not absorb)
- Pencil and eraser
- 2 qty - Jars of water
- Paper towels or napkins
- Paintbrushes - Round or flat tip 
- Paint tray for watercolor mixing
- Paint - watercolor paints (see the picture for colors needed for each character)

*Note that you will need to purchase a special paper labeled specifically as "Watercolor Paper" and "Watercolor Paints".  
**Artists are welcome to use markers or colored pencils if watercolor paints are not their thing!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

4 hours 35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
