I am a certified teacher in Social Studies and Geography. I have lived and worked on four continents and traveled to more than 40 countries. Wanderlust should be my middle name.
Nothing required - I may supply links after the class for students to read to follow up on a conversation during class that day, but it would be informational rather than required.
Learners will get a Google doc with hyperlinked resources before the class starts as well as templates for creating an 5-day itinerary.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
none
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some countries require specific vaccinations to enter the country, which is a topic that cannot be avoided while planning a trip.
Learners will get a Google doc with hyperlinked resources before the class starts as well as templates for creating a 5-day itinerary.

About Me

I enjoy providing students with the tools to decipher what is going on in the world around them by discussing current events, introducing them to new cultures and far-away lands, or helping them make their corner of the world a little better.
