Camp: Travel With Classical Music to... Fantastic Places and Make Crafts Too!
Class experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
In this 3 days camp students will "travel" to 3 different fantastic places: Magic Forest, Land of Sweets, and Amazing Toy Store. On the first day, we will "visit" Magic Forest led by Papageno (one of main characters from Mozart's opera Magic Flute). The second day will take us to the Land of Sweets where Sugar Plum Fairy will give us a musical tour (a character from Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker). On the third day, we will stop by Amazing Toy Store and get acquainted with uncle...
Students will get familiarized with fragments of famous classical pieces. They will practice listening to short segments of classical music and expect the "clues" from the music. Students will be encouraged to use their creative thinking while playing musical games and making crafts.
