Description
Class Experience
In this 4-day multi-course, students who dream of vet school learn all about the veterinary life and culture of the veterinary world. This course is suitable for students pursuing any animal/veterinary career: doctors, specialists, veterinary technicians, assistants, groomers (although grooming itself isn't discussed), reception, management. After working in the Veterinary space since 2004 and moving towards education and advocacy of animals in 2014, I have created this course for students to...
- Students will generate a global appreciation and curiosity for the veterinary field - Students will have a global understanding of many different specialty veterinary fields - Students will be able to compare and contrast wildlife and domestic animal care - Students will be able to summarize fluid administration - Students will be able to communicate 1+ diseases commonly vaccinated against in cats and dogs - Students will play several verbal games simulating a veterinarian's work day
I worked in animal science and medicine from 2004-2014 and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors in Science, Animal Science pre-vet with a minor and additional concentrations. I moved into education of animal species in 2014 and am prepared for this course.
